Consultation

SWS staff are familiar with the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), the law which governs the goals, objectives and performance measures by which the success of federally funded programs are measured. Staff are also familiar with the methods required by federal agencies and specific fields to determine if a method or program is evidence based.

This knowledge, together with the knowledge and experience of SWS with studies and evaluations, and data management, gives our staff the ability to consult with our customers on what they may need to do to meet federal requirements to receive a grant, or to meet the requirements of a grant. We can help an agency or program decide if it would like to determine if it wants to achieve evidence based status and how best to do that.

Developing databases can be an expensive proposition. The GEMS® can be adapted to many situations, but it is not always the right answer. We can help you decide what is the best, least expensive solution for your needs.
